Buying a home, step by step.

Buying a home

Buying a new home should feel calm and clear. Here is how it works with us, and what protects you along the way.

The buyer's journey

Six steps, and we are with you for every one.

No two purchases are quite the same, but the shape of them is. This is what to expect.

  1. Enquiry

Tell us what you are looking for, by phone or through our contact form. We reply personally, by email or phone, whichever you prefer.

  2. Viewing

Walk the site and the homes with us at a time that suits you. Ask us anything: how the home is built, what goes into it and who builds it.

  3. Reservation

Choose your home and reserve it. Every term is set out in writing before you commit, as the Consumer Code for New Homes requires.

  4. Build updates

Follow your home as it goes up, with news and photographs from site. Independent inspectors check the work at key stages.

  5. Handover

Collect your keys with the Home Passport: the certificates, warranties, manuals and contacts for your home, in one place. About the Home Passport

  6. Aftercare

Your home carries a 10‑year structural warranty, and our team is a phone call away if anything needs attention. Customer Care

Your protection

What protects you, named and in writing.

  • 10‑year structural warranty

Every new home we build carries recognised 10‑year structural warranty protection, from an established provider chosen for each development.

  • Consumer Code for New Homes

We are registered with the Code. It sets out how you must be treated before and after you buy, and gives you access to an independent dispute resolution scheme.

  • Independent inspections

Independent inspectors, usually MC Plan and Site Services, check the build at key stages, so the work is checked by people who did not do it.

Questions

Questions buyers ask us.

Where do you build?

Across Hampshire, Dorset and West Sussex. Catisfield Mews, in Catisfield, Fareham, is under construction now.

Who builds the homes?

Our own team and trusted tradespeople, many of whom have worked with us for years, with independent inspections at key stages, usually by MC Plan and Site Services.

What warranty comes with a new home?

A recognised 10‑year structural warranty. We work with established warranty providers and choose the right warranty for each development, so ask us which provider covers the home you are interested in.

Are you members of the Consumer Code for New Homes?

Yes. The Code sets out how buyers must be treated before and after they buy. If a complaint cannot be settled with us, it gives you access to an independent dispute resolution scheme.

Can you help with finance?

Through our partnership with Daizun Investments, specialists in bridging and development finance, we can help guide you to the right funding. Get in touch and we will explain how it works.

What happens after I move in?

Your home is handed over with its Home Passport, and our team is on hand for aftercare. Customer Care explains how to tell us about anything that needs attention.
