Draft for UK Signature Homes to approve. Prepared 11 October 2026.

What this page covers

Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser. Websites can also keep small notes in your browser's own storage. This page lists everything this website saves in your browser, and why.

The public website

The public pages (everything outside the Home Passport) set no cookies at all.

They keep one note in your browser's storage:

• ush-intro-played-at: the time the short logo animation at the start of the homepage last played, so it plays at most once every 30 days instead of on every visit. It stays until you clear your browser's storage, and it is never sent to us.

The Home Passport

When you sign in to the Home Passport, our database provider's sign-in cookies (their names begin with sb-) keep you signed in as you move between pages. They are set only on the Home Passport's pages (signing in, registering, your account and your home's pages), only once you sign in or register, and they are removed when you sign out or when they expire. Without them the Home Passport cannot work.

What we do not use

• no analytics or visitor tracking
• no advertising or marketing cookies
• nothing from social networks: the Instagram and Facebook links are ordinary links
• no maps, videos or fonts loaded from other companies

Because the website uses only storage it needs to work, it does not show a cookie banner. If that ever changes, for example if we add visitor statistics, we will ask for your agreement first and update this page.

Controlling cookies

You can delete or block cookies and stored data in your browser's settings. If you do, the homepage's opening animation may play on each visit, and you will not be able to stay signed in to the Home Passport.
